A short, suspenseful slow introduction leads straight into the main movement, which is an exciting gallop for both players. The fast tempo aside the range is comfortable and there are no major technical problems for the soloist. This work was an Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Grade 6 Exam Piece between 2013 and 2022.
